I’m a Baltimore-based writer, editorial manager and content strategist with 15 years’ publishing experience (digital and print).
As a copywriter, I’ve written promotional materials that have brought in tens of thousands of leads and generated more than $4.5 million in sales.
On the editorial side, I’ve built, led and managed teams of writers, editors and proofreaders. I’ve written hundreds of articles, essays, eBooks, scripts and reports (and edited many thousands more), worked with bestselling authors, and spoken at conferences and workshops across the U.S. and Canada. Other accolades include:
- Launching and penning a weekly column that went out to 200,000 subscribers
- Hosting promotional videos and webinars that racked up millions of views online
- Forging strategic partnerships with some of the biggest names in finance.
In sum, I have spent the better part of two decades honing my skills as a writer, content strategist and team leader. And I have used those now well-sharpened skills to help take a once small business from grossing $2.2 million in 2017 to grossing more than $13.5 million in 2022 (an increase of 518% in just six years).
Oh, and in my “spare time” I’ve written essays – mostly musings about domestic life and fatherhood – for mainstream outlets like Salon, Yahoo, Fatherly and more. And though I don’t do much freelance video work these days, over the years I’ve had projects featured on Fast Company, Huffington Post, PBS, Rolling Stone, Thrillist and many other places around the web.
